'No news is Good News' is Bad News

30th JUNE 2010

Well, it's been a quite a while since I've added anything new here and I should probably say why.

In short, Uni has taken precedence. So I haven't had the kind of time I like to to devote to these kind of projects. So what have I been doing? Uni stuff now includes (in addidion to the obligitory IT type Units) more programming and Games Development material. I spent last semester working my way around UnrealEd (2, legacy). I'll put some of that up here for show, but I warn you - I'm not particularaly proud of my unreal work at the moment. I'm spending what time a have looking into the newer UDK and liking what I'm seeing.

Also uni has had me doing alot of Java programming. While I'm still waiting for that to be superceeded by C++ (next semester), Android Application development is now on my immediant ToDo list.

Haven't been completely dormant in the more visual fields. Been using snippits of time to work on a quick PS3 model and texture (WIP) just to keep in touch (much like the idea behind the TARDIS project in the folio/misc section).

New project Undertaken

19th AUGUST 2009

In an attempt to use and become more aquainted with some of the better features of modelling mental ray in Maya, I've decided to modeland and texture three blocks of a city street. Also I hope to use it to get some experience in doing a large project. I've got some good ideas floating around and I want to see how detailed I can get. THEN I'll see about some simple animations using this scene.

I'll keep this site up-to-date with my progress.

UPDATE 1st Mar 2010: Found some time to get some real work done on this. Finished modelling the first building - a carpark.

New Site Up

8th JANUARY 2010

After Much deliberation over design and, well, purpose, the site is finally complete and up and running, and thus will replace the tempoary site that I was using on Monash StudentWeb. So, again, please have a look around. I will endevour to keep the site up to date with all my latest works (and the older as well), as well as progress and information on the projects that I am currently working on.

So please have a look around and if you like what you see feel free to drop me a line on the contact page.
